Film Shoot Production
This process will capture all the scenes and information planned in the pre-production process. During the film production you will utilize the lighting requirements, framing and composition to capture the raw footage.
This phase includes the editing of raw footage to cut scenes, insert transition effects, working with voice and sound actors, and dubbing, among other post-production tasks. Editing is the third and final step in film creation.
ABOUT MOUSTACHE MOTION PICTURES
Established in 2011
Moustache Motion Pictures (MMP) began as a group of video enthusiasts assembled for the Washington DC 48 HR Go Green Film Festival in 2011. The team produced two short films in 2011 for the DC 48 HR Festival and the Baltimore 48HR Festival and premiered at the AFI Silver Theater and Cultural Center in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland. This ragtag crew of filmmakers combined their different areas of technical expertise to create the original "Moustache Team".
In June of 2012, Moustache Motion Pictures was named the grand prize winner of the American Community Survey (ACS) public service announcement contest hosted by the Asian American Justice Center (AAJC) and sponsored by AT&T. After, the team continued to produce videos in the DC-MD-VA area covering community events and live performances, university groups and sports events, eventually being contracted to commercial and government work. The team filmed promotional material for international organizations, like Gawad Kalinga USA and the Asian American Justice Center (AAJC), and produced for businesses such as Balikbayan Books, CodeNow, Red Frog Events, SalesVote, DC APA Film, the DC Society of Young Professionals, and the Filipino Cultural Association at the University of Maryland. Bringing video to the DMV has cultivated the talents of local artists, supported community organizations, and made industry standard video accessible to many individuals.
Today, the team stays committed to providing video as an accessible medium to the Washington DC-Maryland-Virginia metropolitan area. Video is a powerful tool. And we are video professionals.
